The vast majority of Necron Warriors I see are put together "normally", all Terminator like. I wanted to be different, so I've got them all hunched over, heads at some odd angles, few of em with open mouths or missing lower jaws, ect. Just wanted em to look more ghoulish than the norm.
It shows up better in my avatar pic than it does in the post, but the Lord's orb, as well as the gem on his staff head, is made from a melted down spru that the translucent green rods come on.

That's actually the first time I've ever heard of somebody doing that, great original idea. Making a necron army look unique is no small feat, nice work.

Rather surprised it's the warriors getting all the attention, since those were mostly thrown in for scale, but since they seem popular, here's a phalanx of most of my painted ones.

Here's a better shot of that Lord with his Orb.
Just use a pair of pliers to hold a length of sprue over an open flame, which in my case is a gas range, until it starts to get nice and soft. Don't put the sprue into the flame, or it will blacken and char. When it gets soft, push it back in on itself, and resoften it some more. Just keep working it back untill you get a nice chunk, then start working on rounding it out. File it down to a good shape, I used some cheap nail polishers to get it really smooth, then hold it over a flame again briefly to give it that last bit of smoothness. A good layering of `ARDCOAT will give it a super shine.

If you like the warriors, you should like these Destroyers. Did another round of creative posing with these. I wanted them to look like their guns had actual weight and heft.

Great poses! You've got a good sense of compensatory movement- the stuff that has to be done to balance out a forward thrust of a heavy weapon, crouching to balance out front- or back-footed poses, etc. Way to get good motion out of very pre-set kits.

I don't mind the gold color scheme. Its a refreshing change from the constant silver or black necs I see around my area. Great work on the poses too.
