The conversion works much better than I thought it would.

Cool stuff.

I realy like it, but I think you need at least 1 grot hanging on for dear life from a rotor blade. Also I was a helicopter mechanic for over 10 yrs, so I'm kinda dissapointed you got rid of the tailrotor, but still cool & very ORKY. Makes want to go buy the Codex.

The grot on the rotor blade I think I can do (thinking) well how about a a snotling, rember the old pump wagon? the one in the up position I think would work perfectly. The tialrotor on the other hand had to go to make the overall size of the jet bike right. Thanks for everyones coments and BTW the rotor is still free moving and I'm thinking about mounting a small motor in the bottom so it moves during game play. lol

That is some brilliant conversion work.

Now I really CAN justify browsing the 'Toy' section in shops for ideas...(Girlfriend hates it-lol)

That would work well and the scale is good. An actual grot model is usually too big for hanging on to the side of a vehicle, but I've used the snotlings from pump wagons for years on all my rok vehicles. I especially like the one in the robe that is giving the finger - I've got one mounted on the front of a trukk that really gives the feeling of "you're screwed" to whatever unit they are getting ready to charge...

Great work on the conversion - did you magnetize the gun so that you can switch out weapon systems? Makes it a little more flexible in the long run.

This is the first time i've attempted to make one of my vehicles have actual moving parts. I've learned a great deal like, don't paint it first...lol.

Maybe I'm missing something, but are the hollow tubes on the sides of the models supposed to represent something? Or are they just Orky "'olla toobz"?

They are a sophisticated orky air intake valve... air goes in one side and out the other. lol
