As promised Pig Iron's militia heads on GW models. A plague monk to cultist conversion and bret men at arms to storm trooper.

Looks like they fit in pretty well.

Very cool, KK. Those turned out great, and the Pig Iron helmets really fit well! I especially like the plague monk cultist. Post some painted pics when you get a chance, won't ya?

I ordered some trooper helmets last week

SOMeone else told me they were making an IG army using skaven in a ww2 theme.

Yeah I'm happy with how it came it out. Right now I'm thinking these guys will be my second Witchhunter zealot squat but them may become the basis of a genstealer or chaos cult if I ever pursue that project.

Are those the general gas mask heads (rebels IIRC)? They look good. I acquired 60 militia heads to convert my Valhallen, but they are in wife imposed timeout until after ye old birthday. These general heads would be nice to break up the uniform pattern.

And here are some fully converted, I'm pretty happy with my 'las-lockes' and my crossbow to lasgun conversion. They're not exactly like the old goodwin art but pretty close.

Again, if anyone has spare plague monks let me know I need 7 or 8 for a full squad. Normally I'd just bitz order them but...

That totally reminds me of those alien guys in the begining of the 5th Element.

It does deosn't it. Imagine them on the old round shoulder terminators. The resemblance would be almost spooky.

And that head does look good on that Terminator. Man, this Pig Iron stuff seems to be pretty versatile. A unit of Plague Marines or Terminators done up with those gas masks would be sweet.

Thank you. He's the only one I have painted so far, termie wise. The rest of the army is painted, and I have them written up in the army profiles section.

I still haven't recieved my heads after 17 days, though this includes 2 holidays over Easter and the time it took them to clear my cheque. If I don't have them tomorrow I am getting on the phone.
