How do you fellow Dakkaites construct Banners and such for your models? I am looking to make banners for my army but am not sure how. I would like to print onto Fabric, as it would look and feel more real, but it isnt easy. Here is my design for the banner that I wish to put on my titan, constructed in photoshop.
C & C welcome, and please post your banners, lets see your armies pride!

Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

Ive never printed on fabric before, but you could always do the heavy-weight paper a try. Or you could make it a large transfer and put it on some warped/bannerified plasticard.

Printing on fabric is pretty easy if you have an inkjet printer. You can go to a Michaels sort of store and pick up fabric that is stuck to a paper backing. You cut it to the right length (depending on the size of printing and your printer's particulars) and it just feeds through. You need to let it dry a good bit, then you peel off the backing and yay!

Now, I haven't gotten around to making banners for 40k yet with it, but previous experiments with various photos and the like turned out good results. The colors do get a little muted, so you might want to experiment with either cranking up the contrast and brightness on the picture before printing, or doing a little paint over to help it stand out.

HP have a nice iron on sheet that you can use in an inkjet (Product Number C6065A )

I have used it for making felt badges and T-Shirts, works great! So should be good for banners
