Howdy everyone.

We would love to get the word out around the interwebs (for those who aren't already aware) that Dakka is new and cool and special and everyone should come check out our site, join up and see what we're all about.

For those who are interested, we have made up a generic Dakka gif that you can put into your signature on other forums you frequent or you can simply put it as a link on your blog/website.

If the forum uses IMG tags, copy this code into your sig entry field:

If the forum only uses html for sig pictures, you can use this code instead:

Of course, if the forum doesn't allow gifs in their sigs, you can always show your Dakka pride simply by putting a regular 'ole link to Dakka into your sigs! Something simple like:

dakkadakka.com - miniature gaming with an attitude

Which can be done by putting the following codes into your sig entry fields on other sites (for forums that support UBB tags):

or for HTML only forums:

The only thing I ask is that you do not use this gif in your sigs here on Dakka. The last thing we need is twenty people all with the same gif in their sigs. It would get old pretty quick seeing it that many times.

Wonder which are allowed on Warseer

Very nice, if you ask me.
Don't know if I would want Dakka to become larger, though, seeing what has happened with Warseer.
I mean, since Dakka became much more attractive (visually, easier to follow), we could see it happening.

Not saying it's a bad thing in general, just something that I was thinking another day.

If Dakka starts getting away from the YMDC flamefests and fun feel that it has, we will reel in growth. We have a large plan to ensure that things dont get stale as dakka grows so you dont have to worry about that

Gotta say, I like it here. Almost as much fun as the GW store I used to frequent before I moved.

Sig loaded with the gif on B&C and 40k online ( I don't bother much with Warseer ) and if I find anywhere else worthwhile, you can bet it'll turn up there too.
Put Ammobunker on the list too.

Perhaps, you might have luck promoting blogs and the like in a similar vein as bell of lost souls, from the warp, and the warvault. You could have links directing to you from many many gaming sites. Just a recommendation.

They post your html and banner on their sites directing to you, which gives you more traffic. In return you have a links page with the blog with the most recent post at the top. Its a nice trade off.

Of course!

You can put just about anything in your sig provided it fits within the basic guidelines of being family-friendly and isn't overly obtrusive (some crazy flashing animation, etc).
