This is a project for my fledgling bad moons army that arose from clearing out a load of marines from the dim and dusty recesses of my room. It's really my first foray into any serious conversion work, but hopefully it will turn out ok. The final outcome for this model was for a solid basing around the land raider chassis but with several 'improvements', courtesy of several meks. this is still a work in progress, any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Looks way too clean right now. Get some rivets on there, along with smaller armor plates on the front.

Smaller pieces of plating will have two effects: It shows more clearly that this thing is huuuge, and it will give you something to paint contrast colors on later.

Oh, and possibly some tubing or rivets on the cannon, again to make it look in-scale. At the moment it looks a bit "Stuck on cardboard tube"ish.

EGAD! That is a massive cannon! I agree with cutting the metal into smaller bits, will definately make the model look bigger. Plus the size of it would prohibit majority of sane people from forging a piece that big.

Cool though! I likey.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

But when were orks sane.

I would give the model plates a higher ground clearance. If you want ground hugging plates put them on skis.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I agree, cut at least 1/3 off of those front plates and break them up a bit with smaller plates and glyphs.

Ya I agree another idea I suggest is making the cannon look more like an artilery* gun i.e a base
