The axe/guitars (axetars? guitaxes?) are my favorites - excellent stuff! Love the execution on this (no pun intended).

Only improvement I would suggest is that they could quite do with shoulder straps. Otherwise what's holding them up?

They're looking really quite cool. I think the second one may be a bit big. The first one is really too long like he's over compensating for something. The third one I think is just right.

Don't care for the champ, at least I assume that's the champ, much at all really. If you're going with guitars, I'd give him a mic, and replace the hand held banner/icon with a nice set of speakers/amps on his backpack over his head. I'd think a group of guys dedicated to sound wouldn't use a visual banner, but an acoustic version.

Hey guys thanks for the comments, i've done a bit more work on these guys and now have a full 5 man squad. Might make another to round it up to a nice Slaaneshi 6 then hope to paint them this week while i'm off from work, even though i have other stuff that i should work on first!

cheers guys, i've wanted some noise marines for a while but don't reall like the style of the weapons in the emp children set (plus you only get 2!) so i did a google search on noise marines to see what people had come up with. originally i was going to use old chaos warrior shileds as the bodies of the sonic blasters but when i dug out what i had i noticed that the halberds in the set would be nice as the necks. the first few things i tried didn't look right but when i was getting the parts off the veihicle sprue i noticed that the durge caster would make nice bodies so worked off that, it was then just a case of building the marines and adding whatever bit's i had knocking about that looked noisey.

ok guy i can't decide how to paint these guys to tie into my army. On my other cult troops i've painted them in standard Black Legion way but added an element of colour that suits which god they follow so:

Khorne Bezerker (actually this in my Lord but you get the idea)



Plague Marine



Tzeentch Marine (Still WIP but again you get the idea)



With my noise marines i was thinking i'd paint parts of the armour pink or purple but i'm worried this might look too much like emp children, Another idea i had was to paint parts of the armour in the style of animal patterns (Leopard, Tiger, Zebra) like the classic noise marine in one of the 2nd ed rulebooks, any suggestions?

I am still at odds with what is to be my second army, additionally I love to convert models, with the high standard of converting you have done here I think I am leaning towards chaos! Sweet conversions!!
