Well it seems another trade didnt work out so these items are once again up for grabs look at first post for details of what I have and what Im looking for!

That is kind of the problem with big lots you won't break up - I have the books, and all I want is the Hydra.

Agree with bookwrack. I have some karman and red blok stuff to trade, but I dont need or want 90% of what is offered.

Nah I gave up bartertown myself long ago. Too many people go thieving there. I only trade with people who I have a good feeling of trust with.

For instance, you run a game shop, and have to worry about your rep here. I know you from several forums. Russ knows you, so thats really all I need to consider to trade with you.

I have been here a decade, and I am not going to risk being made a fool by making a bad trade, so I think trust could be figured as equitable here.

I will post trade feedback at bartertown, but thats about all it is good for in my eyes.

Thanks alot Hellfury its kind of you to mention that,I been having a good run at barter-town but I feel your pain as well building up trust can be hard and its often a uneasy feeling trading with people your not familiar with, we keep bumbing into each other at differant forums its getting so If I see your name I stop in to see what your chating about..LOL How do you feel about the feedback section at BT I was wondering if something like that would be good here at the dakka site, Thoughts???

Like I said, I use the feedback system there. Its been around for a long time. Wether you trade here, there or whatever, I go to bartertown and leave feedback with them.

I heard awhile back some proposals for doing the same here, but I think it would be more of a pain than it is worth since this isnt really a trading site. The trading here has always been more of an advertisement for people trying to unload their stuff in a laid back manner.

It would be great to have it here, but ...its not totally necessary.
