As a continuation of THIS THREAD, I have built a 5 warlock jetbike retinue.

All affixed to 50mm darkages/warmachine bases. Because those bases pwn GW bases...

Farseer jetbike included to show full squad if I so choose to attach the farseer to the jetbike squad.

And here is a few pics of what I am thinking about doing for the warlocks on the jetbikes using direavengers bits that I think rep warlocks fairly well.
(sorry, but robes on jetbikes screaming through the air with the cloth getting sucked into the engine intakes and the rest flapping about is rather moranic IMO. Warlocks dont HAVE to have robes...)

WOOT! 10K POST! I would like to thank Malfred for teaching me how to be such a good spammer.

Are those the bases that came with the jetbikes? They look kinda like Warmachine bases. I would hate for you to get DQ'd from an event for not following the new 5th ed modeling rules.

Congrats on 10000 posts, I just hit 3000 posts today. It seems so much easier to post without Stelek around.

BTW, I am joking about the bases.

Getting my broom incase there is shenanigans.

The problem with Eldar Jetbikes is that the models are so old that they have had about 4 different bases during their run.

I only know of three:

25mm clear domed hex flight base

30mm flight base

65mm flight base

whats the other one?

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

nice! and gratz on 10001. Eldar Jetbike base confusion is a worthy topic.

"About 4" = 2-4 (or 3)

Not that I can rememebr, my last Eldar army featured all of the Phoenix dudes, all brand new! Must have been ~'96 or something.

I love them, except the heads scream DA instead of Warlock. Is there any other head out there you can use that looks more...warlocky?

Aside from that, they look ACE!

Gratz on the 10K Hellfury.

Those Jetbikes are awesome-nice work.

I actually like the Head you chose. Seems to 'fit' with the rest of the look.

Yup, I´m with akira, the heads are cool. When the new DA were released I just had to buy a sprue, for skirmish style games.

Those avengers are some of the nicest Eldar ever. Lots of possibilities in the kit, and soooo many extra gubbins-

Ooh, and since noone else has said it:

No cape!
Turboman; Sucked through jet engine.
Electrogirl; Caught in hurricane.
Warlock #5; Whirled through own jetbike.
No! cape!

Very nice!

With the down-swept wings the bikes look a little limp on the bases, have you considered pointing the bikes either a little nose-up, or down for drama?

They are all actually rather limp on the bases, as I just stuck a post in a base and plopped the bikes on the posts to take the pics.

How they will be positioned...hmmm.... I planned on being extremely uncreative and just leveling them all off to the horizontal plane, but perhaps something more dynamic may be in order.
