Hey all here is a tale of lots o death.
andrew had his seer council army
marc (me) running the orks
He gets first turn which was huge for him. The tables really dont offer much hiding room so he was in range of my lootas and big shootas on turn one. If I go first he loses 7 or 8 warlocks and maybe even a chance to instant death the farseer.
But he rolls up and shoots alittle with his 2 10 man jet bike units. a couple orks die.
my turn one I shoot and kill 7 or 8 bikes from a guardian squad.
his turn 2 he shoots and kills some more orks in the screen and then charges in with both seer councils. I lose a crap load of orks.
my 2 I shoot and kill some jet bikes.
hth I lose more orks and kill a couple warlocks.
The game stays like that till the end basicly. He runs the remnants of the 2 jet bike squads behind some trees.
HTH continues where he is killing lots of orks and Im whittling the warlocks down. finally wipe out one seer council and start working on the other.
His top of 5 he moves out 3 jet bikes to sit on a objective so he would have one. Luckilly for me the
HTH was on top of one so that puts us at a tie. On my turn 5 my 26 lootas shoot and kill those three bikes. In the
HTH I finally kill the last farseer so he is down to two warlocks that are a little off the objective but my boys are still close enough to claim it. So I have one objective and he has none.
At that point andrew concedes since it is basicly unwinable for him.
The game ens with him having 2 jet bikes behind the trees hiding, that if they tried to get the objective they would get blasted.
He also had 2 warlocks in
HTH left with both my
HQ's and half a squad of orks , with fortune gone they were toast.
All in all a very fun game, andrew was a gentelman the whole game we only had one real rules question that we looked up about wounds given after
HTH were I was right and Andrew was glad I was right since his way he said made it seem really bad for independent characters.
we had a good game, glady do it anytime
Only needing 1 guy to claim is really huge.
