No offense, but I really do not think has what it takes to do well in 'Ard Boyz. Problems I see: You have one squad of destroyers. One squad is not hard to kill at 2500 points so that is almost like handing your opponent a kill point.
Same goes with the Heavy destroyers.
60 warriors? I mean its great for holding an objective, but how do you plan to kill anything? Warriors got alot weaker in 5th edition, I dont think you are going to be able to do enough damage to your opponent with this list.

The rundown of my opponents looks like this:

Nids
Nids
Nids
BT
DA
DH
CSM

The only army I'm afraid of is CSM as I've never fought against them before.

Give me some suggestions, not just say "this is a bad list"

Drop the Destroyers and throw in another Monolith; he's right, destroyers just don't function in such small numbers. Also consider giving disruption fields to the scarabs so that they are actually capable of hurting things (Work pretty good on flayed ones too, but Flayed ones only work well with a Veil/Scythe lord imo).

I understand the strategy you are going phalanx, but the destroyers just wont be able to support you all that well in such a small number. Alternatively, drop the heavy destroyers and a couple of warriors and have another maxed out destroyer squad. HD in all honesty aren't all that great for what they do. In this list, the monolith does everything better. HD only belong in a flying circus list, and this is most definetly not flying circus.

Also no immortals? Those punks are worth their weight in gold for knocking 4+ saves (scouts, 'eavy boyz, etc.). It might make your overall number a bit smaller, but considering the warriors you have already, I don't think you need to worry too much about phase out unless you run into a marine vindicator line.

Also think about what the Deceiver is going to do for you. He typically isn't all that great, and dropping him for a veil lord would save points to knock the HD for a Monolith, as well as give you an easy way out of assault if you wind up near objectives that are not near our big angry living metal friends.

In short, I'd lose the deceiver for a veil lord, lose the heavy destroyers and possibly the regular destroyers, and toss in another lith and some immortals. My two pennies though.

Thank you for the thought out response.

I'm thinking of dropping the heavy destroyers + 1 squad of warriors for 5 destroyers and 8 immortals. Thoughts?

Immortals and destroyers are most definitely the way to go. If you have the models, this could be a very strong list. Remeber, with Necrons, ESPECIALLY in hard boyz, you want to have multiple squads or none at all.

Hq:
Lord w/ res orb, Veil

Troops:
10 warriors
10 warriors
10 warriors

Elites:
10 immortals
10 immortals

Fast attack:
5 destroyers
5 destroyers
5 destroyers

Heavy Support:
Monolith
Monolith

This puts you 20 points over but dropping 1 immortal can solve that problem. If you want to go with only 10 destroyers and take a squad of scarabs then that can work too. Scarabs are amazing in 5th edition since turbo boosting gives them a 2+ cover. A squad of these blasting toward a gun line is a really good plan, and they also offer mild counter charge.

Veil Lords are the way to go. They give you tons of mobility to take objectives, or to hop over and contest them on the last turn of the game. The deceiver is nice, but I think you are better off with a lord veiling with warriors or immortals all over the place.

Hope this helps.

I would agree with extrenm(54), nice solid list, and asugradinwa, troops are needed, but support for them is needed even more.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

You're going to want something like this IMO, you have plenty of Immortals and Destroyers, but I would say dropping a Destroyer squad would be profitable, for this reason: You only have 3 10-man Warrior squads; when I played 'crons, I never left the house without at least 40. The Monoliths can help keep them alive. That'll also drop 15 points.

Catch me if you can.

Plus thats only like 66 necrons whats your phase out at that number.... At 2500 points you can rip through 66 necrons pretty quick.
