Thought I'd get some photos taken of them, and share my last many many months work !

Really nice. The eagles are really well done. A simple enough technique but truly effective. Great work!

You asked for suggestions, so here goes.

Take that army to GT. Make sure you have somewhere to put your best army trophy.

That is insanely good, the colours, your blending, the conversions, all just superb. Congratulations on an amazing army.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink.

Wow, Simply wow.....

I like the purple. It reminds me of something I tried with my Emperor's children. It did not work out for me though, because I can't paint that good......

Very nice, are the jetbikes all Master's of the Ravenwing?

Undead Titan Log
Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

Correct, though I modified the exhaust, using a combination of cities of death terrain exhausts, plasticard tubing, rivets, greenstuff and a twin linked heavy flamer.
Heres a bit of a look at how I did it:

Some questions, especially as I'm trying to get together a squad of Heresy Era Armored Terminators myself!

1) What helmets did you use?

2) How did you make the combi-weapons?

3) How did you make the shoulder pads and leather straps?

Very, very nice stuff!

Hiya,

1) That's actually the regular termie head. I cut down the head, and drilled some holes in the side.
2) I just cut the barrels and the ammo clip off the storm bolter, and fashioned on a melta/plasma pistol barrel. I then put half the origional storm bolter barrel back on, and used a chain of ammo from an ork shoota.
3) The leather straps are just very thin bits of plasticard slightly bent. The shoulder pads were made by cutting a plastic tube in half, laying one half inside the other, and trimming to fit. Then I just chucked a million rivets everywhere !

Fantastic looking army. The jetbikes show real dedication to spending money!
But worth it for such a cool looking unit.

Well done

Good point!

Were you able to buy all the Master of the Ravenwing jetbikes before the Bitz Service disappeared?

Sadly no, I went out and did it the hard way.

Somewhere lying around I have 5 sammaels in a box
You may notice that one of Lucius' swords are the entire sammael hand and sword actually.

The purple is the following, from a black undercoat:

2 coats of lich purple, then slowly mixing up to warlock purple with about 3-4 stages in between, then a hilight of just warlock purple, before mixing a fair chunk of bleached bone into that until its a very light bright pink. After that I mixed some lich purple with some chaos black, and watered this down extremely, applying it all over the purple to darken it down and help blend the lines. It's something like 9 stages all up but it finishes up going at a reasonable pace.

S**T!
Thank you for posting these beauties.
This has to be the sweetest army I have ever seen.

I'd like to know how you painted the gold. I don't really care for NMM, but the way you paint it, I just need to know.

Would love to fight against these with my PH Death Guard
