So these are some of my old stuff that I have lying around.

They were painted in a Evil Sunz scheme but I changed it 'cause I was wandering what it would look like.

oh, and I have eight more of these. Only with Evil Sunz colors.

Any comments are welcome.

I am still trying to get some good lighting. It gets really dark really quick here so, it's a bit difficult to get some good pics. sry

mm, the yellows could use a wash (as far as I can telle from the pics). I think a devlan mud or ogryn flesh wash would do it (the brownisch washes)That would bring the detail back into it.

The metal can benefit from a badab black wash. That would make the detauil pop a bit more. Also the yellow on the claw is a bit to much. Maybe put yellow on the motorpart of the claw (a nice flat plate up top or something) and have the claw metalic. Would look better IMHO.

Final comment is drill the barrels out of those orks. That will add to the orks, really......

The skin and teeth do work for me, so that is half the model looking fine . Oh and if you want to know How I do mine (yes another shameless way of showing my own stuff off) check my orks (follow link in sig) so you can see what washes can do...

I can honestly say that if you're going to go with bad moons or speed freaks one of the best things you can do is either prime in white or actually basecoat your figures with the actual red or yellow instead of trying to force it to cover. Then just go back and either paint everything else black or paint directly over the colors the same as any basecoat.

thanks for the comments. I will probably try some of them out.

LordRavurion: Most of the metal actually has gotten a paint job of Badab, but I see now that maybe the rest should as well.
btw thanks for the comment on the teeth, I'm still trying to get some really good color on those, and the new ones.

LucasLAD: I actually painted black over everything that had a red touch, with Chaos Black, then i gave the metal a mettaly color, then repainted everything that should have markings, with skull white, and then painted the glyphs and the markings.
