OK so since I got back into playing Warhammer and 40k again I have gone and sold alot of stuff I never used. my 360 and all its gubbinz for £500 which was more than enough to get me sorted with two armies. Orcs and High Elves. Meanwhile I dug out all my old Space Wolves and Tau and repained some of my Marines into a New Chapter...The Shadow Sentinels (Yes I am sad enough to create a marine chapter after my Guild on WoW) But I thought it fit nicely.

Anyway thats another story.

I could not resist buying the beast that is the High Elf Dragon. I really love this model, infact its one of GWs best looking. So after painting a few of my Orcs and the Giant. I took to the task of painting white *Cringes* So here are the results.

I am no way saying I am good at painting because I am not. At all. I spent 50 hours on this beast and that was merely for the fact I kept going back over everything.

Hope you like him...and Constructive criticism and tips are always welcome.

I would give all the white bits a good wash to give some definition and depth to the model.

Idk it all depends on what you want the finished project to look like. I would either uses badab black or the flesh wash or that other brown wash.

Just being a bit of a nosy nelly here...

I would have done the reins leading from the dragon's mouth to the rider the same color as the cloth on the rider, and the spines along the back the same as the claws/teeth.

Other than that?
It's a gorgeous model. It's just a bit too monotone in my opinion.
