I'm working on rules for space ship boarding actions and would like to include links to different sources for space ship corridors.
I know about Star Wars Galaxy tiles (what I use), Dwarven Forge (what I wish I used), Hirst Arts, and Litko Systems.
Anyone want to add others?
Is there a good site for downloading Space Hulk tiles or another source for space ship maps?
Are DOOM boardgame tiles available seperately?

Well here's my guide
SHOPPING
Flat tiles
Star Wars Galaxy Tiles – Printed, heavy duty cardboard. Double sided to allow for multiple appearances. 4 sets are enough to cover a 4’x6’ table. Also compatible with their Dungeon Tiles sets. Probably the best value for the money. The only disadvantage is lack of doors.
http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Galaxy-Tiles-Supplement/dp/0786947446/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1227855458&sr=8-1
Space Hulk Tiles – If you have these already you’re good to go. If not they can be downloaded here but you’ll need to print and mount them yourself:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/info/25696
DOOM and other boardgames – Not much to say, if you have an appropriate game like Fantasy Flight’s DOOM you’re good to go.
http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite.asp?eidm=34&enmi=Doom
Litko Aerosystems – Unpainted plywood tiles and doors that interlock. These require painting but are good quality and fairly cheap. I use their doors. But I had problems with warping when I assembled them.
http://www.litkoaero.com/products.php
Three Dimensional corridors
Dwarven Forge – The gold standard of dungeon terrain. Pre-painted, tough ceramics with a choice of medieval and science fiction sets. Expensive but worth the money.
http://www.dwarvenforge.com/store/home.php
Hirst Arts Molds – Hirst Arts sells plaster molds for casting your own blocks and details. They have several science fiction sets that would let you build anything you want. The most labor-intensive option but potentially the most rewarding.
http://www.hirstarts.com/
Ainsty – Old Crow sells Ainsty’s line of space ship interiors. They’re resin, not cheap, unpainted and have to be shipped from the UK. But they do look great.
http://www.oldcrowmodels.co.uk/aiproducts.htm
IMEX models – IMEX makes gothic buildings, chemical plants, electrical plants and other terrain kits. Their kits are modular and fit together well and could be used to build corridor walls.
http://www.thewarstore.com/IMEXPlatformerHexagon.html
Games Workshop and Forge World terrain – One of the easiest options for building your own. Cities of Death walls and Forge World terrain can be used with plasticard, wood or foamcore to create detailed ship interiors. It won’t be cheap but it will be rewarding.
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/TERRAIN.html
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/QUATERMASTERS_STORE_WARHAMMER_40K_TERRAIN_7.html
Make your own! – Mad props to anyone who does. It can be done with wood, plasticard, plumbing supplies and other materials. Here’s a tutorial I found.
http://www.terragenesis.co.uk/infopages/page353.html
Machinery, consoles and other decorations
Scotia Grendel – Although they do not have corridors Scotia Grendel has a line of science fiction terrain pieces that can dress up your ship. As with Ainsty they’re based in the UK and not cheap.
http://www.scotiagrendel.com/
Copplestone Castings – Copplestone’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang line has Cold War era consoles and doors meant for mad scientists underground lairs but useful for us as well.
http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/
Armorcast – Like Scotia Grendel they have lots of science fiction bits for use. They’re not cheap either and based in the U.S. so it cheaper to ship there.

right now our local club is working on terrain for some modular space ship interior. for a space hulk themed 40k tournament in march. were using 2ft by 2ft squares of 1/2 inch pink foam with more foam on top to make up the corridors and rooms. with some Hirst Arts tiles and bits for detail. I will try and get a shot of it them this weekend.

I picked up some resin cast spaceship/tech interiors a few years back, and don't unfortunately have the original outer boxing (only the inner shipping foam trays).
Will try and upload pics of it. The flooring is marked off in 1" squares, but it comes with doorways, corridor intersections (t and +) and even angled (45*) corners.
You need a few sets of them to even make a basic spacehulk 3d layout, and at around $100AUD (retail) they didn't sell that many. I have two sets. I'd need another 4 to do a basic SH mission layout.

@ Chromedog, Are you sure they're not Dwarven Forge ceramics? Do they have little bow ties |><| to connect the pieces?
If the company's still around I'd be happy to list them.
in the meantime, please comment on the rules.
Thanks

No, they're definitely resin (I worked with ceramics for 14 years and I know my ceramics.). The sound when tapped is wrong for ceramics, the weight is wrong for ceramics and besides, the felt backings are peeling off, revealing the resin.
They're painted metallic, with cables and stuff also detailed. I've got some pics somewhere, and as soon as I can get back onto photobucket, I'll upload and link them. The doors are guillotine style, with a piece that slots into the frame and drops.
I still have two sets of Space hulk 1.0 (Deathwing and Genestealer included) tiles that I use for tunnels/sewers, etc in games otherwise. Also the Advanced Space Crusade set (tyranid hiveship complete with orifice/sphyncter 'doors'.).
FLGS had no success moving them, so let me take them for cost. They'd been in the store for a couple of years at that point.
Edit: Here's some of the pieces I have, laid out into a complex.
They appear to be the DF sets (Sci Fi starter and Passage sets). They are most definitely NOT ceramic, though. Nice to see that I can get more if I need to, though.
Website calls them polyresin (smells about right for it).

Yep Dwarven Forge
http://www.dwarvenforge.com/store/product.php?productid=16298&cat=270&page=1
I've only held the DF fantasy stuff and that was a few years back so I guess I'm wrong about it being ceramic.
I also don't see the 'bowties' from their fantasy stuff.
Anyway how do you like it? I dream of someday getting a full table of their stuff but I'd like to hear from someone who has it before I throw down cash.

If you don't mind a bit of handicrafts it's pretty easy to knock up rectilinear corridors with cardboard and plastic card.
The detailing is what makes everything look good. Embossed card -- for example, anti-slip flooring -- and old kit bits are your friends.

@Kid_kyoto: I've only got what is in the pic in my post.
Based on this, I'd need two more passage sets and about two to three more starters to even do a basic Spacehulk style mission layout.
The pieces go together well enough, there are no ties to hold them together like the fantasy sets. You just need a few sets to start with. A shame that the long corridor pieces are oos, and the weight alone will make shipping them an expensive procedure (site I looked at was in US dollars and shipping was crazy-stupid).
I've been studying them and taking measurments and pics. I may be able to fabricate up make-do pieces from 1/2" foam (they're about that thick) and card.

If you have the time and space Hirst arts plaster molds may be the way to go.
Hirst Arts Molds – Hirst Arts sells plaster molds for casting your own blocks and details. They have several science fiction sets that would let you build anything you want. The most labor-intensive option but potentially the most rewarding.

Oh, I know about Hirstarts, and I have a dental supplier two blocks away as well, so casting media isn't hard to come by. It's the sheer bulk of effort required for it.
For what I want, I need to make lots of casts to make panels, then (re-word - don't want to mention the actual word, lest I be censured for encouraging the forbidden art) the panels made from them, then glue those together.
I have close to 60 sq foot of 1/2" rigid pink foam insulation here, ready to go. A trusty mains powered foam cutter, and a series of steel straightedges.

here is what i have untill i get back from edmonton.
they are built so that no mater which way there turned the corridors will match up.
these are just our current test pieces
the real ones will be measured so that the 1 inch hirst art floor tiles will line up perfectly
oh and if you want what i think is the best example of what can be done for space hulk with the hirst arts stuff

Found styro and Platformer sets will be the backbone of our local Space Hulk. Just got the plasticy-bitz this last weekend, and must say they work better glued-on than I thought they would. If you're short on time, it's a great way to go.
BTW, do y'all recall the WD where they had a Space Hulk battle? I really like a few things about the construction they had there:
1- They used PVC pipe to create a ventilation system (okay, a few large pipes) that could move models in paralell with/through other rooms
2- The hulk/battlefield was an amalgam of different ships, as well as an asteroid bit that was open to space. That part was cool. The variety of different textures and gaming possibilities made the whole thing more interesting than a Space Hulk-(the game)-ish repetition of similar corridors. Not that there's anything wrong with that, especially if those repeating corridors are repositionable- but for a fixed table more detail seems better.
I'm off to find that WD, then... I think it was about 6 or 7 years ago at least. Should be near the middle of my stack.
