So Craig and I have been working on our Uncharted Seas stuff. Craig, as usual, has not only gotten his done first, but managed to crank out BEAUTIFULLY painted terrain to boot.

Not heard of the game before (GW kind of dominates the War Games scene over here), but from those model and awesome terrain, it looks like you'll have some fun with it.

WOW! Craig did a gorgeous job on the terrain... is the crackly water texture a textured plasticard, or something he made? It looks fantastic, and the islands fit right in... great work on everyone's ships as well.

Prometheum5: Craig pulled a brilliant, easy trick with the water. It is the plastic sheets used in drop ceiling lighting fixtures that is available at most Hardware stores in good sized sheets (usually around 2'x4'). He then painted the flat side blue, and flipped it over, so the textured side is up, and attached it to some polystyrene for stability. It's a great way to crank out a water table, as the textured side catches the light and looks like wave caps. If you want to get really fancy, paint some darker blues on first, then paint the whole underside with lighter blues, this will give the illusion of different water depths.

Definitly check his blog (link in first post) as he has some commentary in the picutures about that.

for some reason i thought the dragon lords were their version of the elves but now that i hear the elf fleet is almost done it has me wanting to find out more.
