Well you could use the pig iron bodies if you dont want to sculpt or you could add fur trim to the cadian gear to make it more wintery and do sumit a wee bit different.

i have been collection Bretonian men at arms bodies for a pig iron project i plan on starting up after xmas

Sweet i hope you put it up on dakka for us all to see or maybe post it here and start a thread to show peoples models using pig iron bits?

im ordering some of there winter heads tonight so ill post a product review here when i get them.

I already have the bodies and heads... it's finding Cadian arms without actually buying an entire box that has stumped me. These Catachan arms are rubbish.

i have lots of cadian arms. i started a cadian army then got bored and wanted something completely different so i sold the assembled minis and kept the bits

thing that annoyes me is to create those men at arms you need IG equipment anyway-las rifles, technology etc

so box of men at arms and box of cadians as well as pig iron heads- surely you might as well go buy valhallans anyway

All you need to do is start an army with cadian bodies and men-at-arms, uh, arms.

the most cost effective way is Elf archers or Men at arms+pig iron heads + 1/35 modern weapons (Dragon makes M16s, AK47s and MP5 with about 50 per box for under $10).

of course I already have a deep, deep bitz box and can add pouches and modern gear to my hearts content.

He's not the only one with a capacious bits box.
After 20 years in the hobby, you accumulate so much crud that you have to get rid of anything you don't need or use (or risk becoming that "crazy spaceman guy" - the hobby equivalent of the "crazy cat lady").

My 'bitz box' at one stage filled two 50l storage crates. Full of 1/35, 1/48 parts as well as parts for 5 or 6 different plastic miniature soldier ranges, and assorted vehicle sprues.

I'm down to 1 after a big parts giveaway. I like the pig-iron stuff I have, but greatcoat guard don't thrill me, and have never been on my to-do list.

Hey guys i actually got the winter heads yesterday but unfortunetly i am not at home so cant give you guys any pics on cadian bodies or a review,so if your thinking of buying them hold on a till monday night and ill have a review done with pics but im not sure if my cadian battleforce has arrived?

Well here it my product review

The heads come well packed and there was no damage to any of the heads.The sprues themselve come with 10 heads on each.

The heads themselve are really well sculpted and sharp detail (The websites pictures dont credit them).They have a slight amount of flash and some almost invisable mold lines witch you really have to look for.

Overall there great i bought 40 and will definetly recomend them for any project
