Saw one made up in the local GW store, not as big as I expected especially for the money...

Looks super easy to build. Large pieces with a bunch of grots. Mark me down for 3. At $95.00, the one I scratch built cost me 4 weeks of my life and $200+ in plastics and glue. This is well worth the price in my opinion.

Without scratchbuilding, there doesn't seem to be much variation in what you can build from the kit.

Oh and the mold lines look awful, does anybody else notice that these days?

The Grotz are indeed fantastic. It's a real shame there's so little opportunity to use Grot Oilers, considering how most Meks are used these days. My favourite has to be the radio Grot.

Also, just like the battlewagon and trukk, there aren't really any leftover bitz and no weapon options. I could build a Big Mek stompa myself, if I wanted to, but it still bugs me that they didn't include it in the first place.

The weapon sprues and the crew look really impressive. I'm sure the bitz sites will be selling lots of those!

Its great for bitz, but there is so much space on those sprues which could have been filled with additional parts, at least to build the mekboy stompa which differs in only two or three weaponoptions from this one.

OK I give in, I'm gonna get one!I want to paint it in my Blood Axe Scheme just for fun (I dont play Orks I'm just creating a showcase army out of black reach!) it would probably consist of metal, shadow grey and camo panels
EDIT: Oh and a big Banna on da top!
EDIT THE 2ND: Its interesting (and sad) that there are no parts for a lifta-droppa

Just one question: Wheres my plastic Warhound?

And, it has a pointing hand! Is there a bald screaming head in the box too? It has rivets. And skulls. And spikes. Bald screaming head, pointing hand, skulls, rivets, spikes - everything a 40k model could ever want!

I'm anxiously awaiting getting one or two, after I assemble and paint the 2000 points of Orks that are already at my house.

In the dark future, there are skulls for everyone. But only the bad guys get spikes. And rivets for all, apparently welding was lost in the Dark Age of Technology. -from C.Borer

I want to get two of these and a trukk, make one Goff Stompa (2 chainsaws) a Mek Stompa (one gun from the sprue and a converted lifta droppa) and a flak wagon with the extra gun.

looks pretty decent modelwise, they do seem to have went kinda barebones on the extra parts but, no problem for most ork players. I might actually be tempted to buy a GW model after all these months.
