Nice I love Crimson Fist marine colors. They basically fit on any army and look good. Very clean paint jobs. Keep it up

Doh! Didn't realize the color scheme was used often. I just wanted it to be Urban/Night Ops type scheme.

Ha they aren't used terribly often, but I immediately associated them with the Fists, so go figure. Its a great scheme though (which i haven't seen in tau form) so stick with it.

I had mixed some red and blue wash to give it purple waves over the blue, I wanted to try and go darker with it, more coats of ink, but I didn't know if I would ruin it =/. You can just barely see them as is

It's not a color scheme you see with Tau, so I wouldn't worry about that. A little dark for me, but nicely done. Neat and crisp.

yeah, i just read in the codex that tau will use colors that are tactically sound, yet keep sept colors. Thanks for the compliments, i was worried that I wouldnt paint very well my first go at it.

Nice start i like, you might wnna maybe consider using some high lighting colours, eg sunburst yellow, it would go swwet with the darker colours you have

I like the dark blue. The red is a bit orange and vibrant. I would try a darker red.
