Yes LOTR and WOTR has peaked my interest. Now i had LOTR`s in the beginning when the films were out but never stuck with it cos it was a dull game and 40k was always gonna be top dog. unfortunately 40k is making me lose interest in the hobby as a whole which is why im getting rid of so much of my 40k armies. Thankfully i played a demo game of WOTR and then bought the book and never have i been as impressed by something that GW has produced than this game in my whole lil 14 years in this hobby.

Anyways rambling over, I decided to go with Gondor/Arnor as my main good force, my evil force was gonna be easterlings but GW have put an end to that. So to start with my AOTD mini`s these are simple as to do and to be honest i didnt put much time into them as you can see. Though i am happy with them as theyve came out quite well. The rest of my force revolves heaily aroung rangers backed up by warriors of minas titith. Aragorn will be in this force, i have a few versions of him so look forward to them. Ill also be adding the 3 hunters, as well asmany more hero`s.

I also have an ent, screams of "that isnt in the gondor list" blah, blah, blah. I know but its a cool thing and i have plans for it anyway. There will be plenty added to this force as id like to get it around 3000pts maybe more. It really depends what i can get my hands on.

The ghost warriors look fine, just a wash over base coat?

Looking forward for more, the WotR has been inspiring me too. Just have to try to resist the urge to start yet another army.

yeah with this new book out i think i might start painting my 242 orcs that i got when a local store went under for like 40 bucks.

Airgunned over white twice, easy as that. To be fair i wasnt even gonna play this but one demo game and i was mighty impressed and after reading the rules i dont think ill go back and play out else. I have enough to collect and paint for 40k but for a game playing kind of thing ill limit myself to WOTR.

Hopefully if trades go my way there will be a lot of new stuff for me to paint up and do some good stuff with
