10 guardians and 1 WraithLord down, Fire Prism and Dire Avengers next.

The wraithlords hand arms and shoulder cannons are all magnetized. And behind the WL in one of the pics is his carrying case which was a 100 CD-R spool with the middle cut out and 3 rare earth magnets placed underneath the WL and on the base of the spool. He sticks to it like a charm, yipy for plastic models!!

well my cam will only let me zoom/focus so much for some reason (sony cyber shot if anyone has any tips) but here is a pic with his arms and hands off.

I used a pin vice drill to get a starter hole going and then carved the rest out with a exacto blade the ones on the wrist poriton of the arms were the hardest. There is like a almost paper thin bit of plastic left of the out side of the arm where the wrists are.

I am not a fan of GW's "I am the rainbow" type Eldar they do.But simple schemes like this one and Ulthwe(I think it's called that I don't know much about Eldar)look very good IMHO.

well I haven't gotten to any of my aspect warriors yet but I will prob paint them in their traditional colors with a little Biel-Tan flare here and there, for example the dire avengers will most likely have Black Green White color crests and the banshee exarch may have Half white Half green hair.

Alright another update, its been about 2 weeks since my last post. Within these 2 weeks I managed to fashion together a fire prism after working on and off with this Frankenstein of a model I questioned my self if 40k is worth all this trouble and I replied with a hell yeah. Dire Avengers next and if you look close in one of the pics you can guess who will be after them.

I like how the fire prism's ..... prism looks. Like an icy gem of sorts.

Also, the vine detail is very nice! Is that hand painted or is it a decal?

Either way, great work! I look forward to seeing those dire avengers.

Thanks guys I appreciate the feed back, and the vines are hand painted. Found a nice brush at hobby lobby that stays nice a sharp when wet.

Alright I spent my evening after work finishing up my first Dire Avenger, and was wondering what you guys thought about adding the eldar troop symbol to the forehead. I am feeling hesitant about it. I know some were wishing for my army to keep within the scheme which I really am trying by adding some small things like the crest of the helmet showing the Biel-Tan colors, but I am also a big believer in the aspect shrines keeping their aspect colors.

I like the Dire Avenger. He stands apart (as he should) with the blue armor, but he shows his Craftworld (heritage?) with his plume.

Well done. And I agree with KaloranSLC, great paintjobs like this make me want to buy Eldar.

But I wont! Begone Temptation! For the Imperium!
Plus my wallet just wont allow it
