I am planning to add a few ork Battle Wagons to my Fledgeing Ork army, and want to give each a Unique Deffrolla. So Far My Ideas are:
the Rolla form the New Sprue
A Giant Lawnmower Blade
A Flail Tank Head
A Storage Vat, tipped over on it's side

Anyone else got any ideas for Unique Deffrollas?

Well before you go and make your own, you know they just announced the Battle Wagon upgrade sprew comming out? Contains grots, Deffrolla, killkannon, and a lobba. Not sure if you knew... Just a heads up!

Then his wagon can look like every other wagon that is out there. GW really dropped the ball waiting this long to release the deathrolla. That's something that should have come in the battlewagon kit.

I like the other ideas your kicking around. Infact Ive thought of making a flail for mine as well. The mine sweeping type of course. Ive thought of snow blower type blades, a couple big ass rocks, maybe a hedge clipper type, a row of drills. Basically yard tools/power tools seem to make perfect deff rolla conversions. Good luck on this

A snow-blower type attachment on the front (mentioned in previous post) would be pretty interesting...and definitely messy.

You could do a combine thresher thing... and have a parts bin on the side where all the metallik bitzy parts come out for further use by da orks.

A big drum, like you said, could be neat... all banged up, and oozing various leaky-fluids... good messy fun.

Now THAT is taking something to the next Orky-level - awesome idea of doom. (wow - it really does sound better)

If you want a literal roller, then the tresher or lawn mower look is the only alternative I can think of to the traditional big spikes look.

But you could also consider a non-roller look - e.g. a line of mechanical hammers or some sort of mek forcefield or a huge mechanical chomping jaw.

I would say that a mek force-field would be the coolest scratch built deffrolla, but it would be pretty hard to do really well.

Making some sort of generator with lightening shooting out of the huge metal jaws would accurately depict a very Orky deffrolls.

You could also do some sort of massive impact hammer, that would punch multiple times like a spring when the battlewagon reached its target. I will draw a picture of this idea and post it if I get a chance today.

One of the guys at the shop is using a deathkopta blade on the front of one of his wagons. Kinda like Ash from army of darkness had kit bashed to the front of his car when fighting the deadites.
