Here be lootas

Do let me know what y'all think and anything extra that could be done, I do have my own ideas and am going to add on either some kind of big engine on the back covered by the same mesh ive used on the side hatch or an extended little troop platform. A few glyphs here and there.

Im also thinking about getting some wooden ice lolly sticks and making like . . . a fence is best I can describe it as. Like a howdah with the a gap in the front for the gun.

Anything else you think it could do with would be great

Toxic

EDIT: The glyph on the top of the turret, too simple, too big? I really dont know

deffrolla doesn't look big enough
a sheet of plastic card and one sprue for the arms

Its looking good. I think a big ol motor in the back will look good for sure.
As far as the glyph goes, right now it looks like King Hippos head from punch out. The bottom looks good enough, but the top also needs to have the teeth. They are smaller, and basically fit inside the bottom teef. If you fix that, the it will look like it should. Nice work, Boom Guns are the way to go with those

Probably somewhere I shouldn't be

You're definitely onto a good idea here, but I have a few suggestions, if I may:
  • There needs to be more evidence of construction - everything should be crudely bolted or welded on
  • I would reinforce the strut that holds the 'dozer blade on, it's too thin to support it's weight, at least adding another beam would do the trick.
  • The icon isn't too big, but the pole its on is too tall, I would make it at most half as high as it is, and I would also cut down the bottle lid to be only a few millimeters tall

  • A touch more work and you'll have something to be proud of!

As for the howdah idea, have you though about using the gap in the back (where you were thinking of putting an engine) as a space for the crew? maybe extend it out the back and build your wooden barricade around it?

    O H I am in the Webway...

It's not very orky. Armored plates and weld lines and all that junk needs to be added. Plasticard will be your friend lol.

    The land of cotton.

Needs more rivets and random plates slapped on it. I'd lose the bottle cap topper to the turret and just go with a crude cupola with an Ork in it (preferably waving a Big Choppa in a threatening manner).

The big engine idea is particularly Orky.

Sorta vague but am going to be doing some work on it tonight, trying to find something i can cut up to make rivets, im not in the mood for waiting for some GS stuff ones to dry, just means alot of cutting heh

I havnt got any plasticard so ive been making do with cut up wooden lolly sticks, I think it looks pretty good and once painted should look pretty good. Ill post a picture later tonight with the results

Im going to probably just have abit of a crew area at the back there, get some mesh on the sides and then some more of those spikes. Then will get her painted up

BTW Why when the dakka forum gallery says [copied to clipboard] does it not copy :s
