I wanted to kill two birds with one stone with this thread. First, I thought I would show off a few Kanversions i've made with my Killa Kans. I ripped the idea of one of the CCW's from another model I've seen floating around, a deff dread I think, the Deffkopta rotars. The rest is, as far as I know, at least moderatley original.

but I also want help painting the marine being stomped on! I don't really know popular marine chapter paint schemes well except blood angels. I want to avoid Blood Angels since I'll be painting lots of blood onto the model. I was going to go with Ultramarines but hell I don't have Ultramarine blue :( What other popular chapters are out there and what are their color schemes?

For you fluffer nutters out there, could include a popular anti-Ork chapter?

Also please note the Kans are in various stages of being painted and none of them are complete. In fact, even in the time since I took these pics earlier there have been a lot of changes to these three. With that said, any kool ideas on kan kolors would be well recieved as well. What would go well with the metallic red.

Why am I asking you? Beucase, believe it or not, I'm almost fully colorblind. I simply can't tell what looks good and what doesn't.

For the Kanversions: The Kustom Mega Blastas are made from the head and "fuel reserve" on the Mek KMB hand weapon as well as a Heavy Bolter Sponson from an Imperial LR tank kit.

The Grotzooka is made from some bit, I don't remember what it is, and attachd to it is a seachlight which, for some reason, I covered in GS and attached some spikes to. I don't know why I covered hte whole thing in GS but hey, life's more fun with mysteries.

The first CCW is made from rotor blades from a Deffkopta. The other is a wrecking ball from a trukk kit.

My vote for the dead marine would be a salamander. Because everyone's busy hopping on the sally bandwagon. Nothing like a bit of 'yeah, I got your meta-game right here!'

Also, I like the conversions. They're simple but look dead killy.

Salamanders - looks like DE Green trimmed in Sunburst Yellow?
