I placed 4th. Mech Space Wolf player can't make next round. TO awarded ticket to me as a result. Similar to last year, except I was tied for 3rd place. I couldn't make it to the 2nd round last year, so I deferred my ticket to the other guy. Karma, I suppose.

I wonder if someone will compile stats on who the big winners and losers are. I'd say the following lists did better than most others:
Orks
CSM
Salamanders
IG will probably do better than they really should have because they now have a lot more people playing them and will probably be disproportionately represented. There were like six guard lists out of about 20 people at my 'Ard Boyz. I've never seen that much guard, percentage wise, at tournament before.

Should put that Orks are 3rd tier poop to shame. Though I'm sure some people will say that the people those ork players played didn't know how to deal with orks. Vulkan marines, Eldar, and then Guard. Pretty much the expected. 'Nids suprise me a bit with such a strong finish so far.
