hey i came across a sprue for female cadians. i think they were custom made, and i dont really want them (they wont fit my army theme ^^ (bald gasmask wearing women is a bit of an offputter. plus it will take the threatening image my army will hopefully convey.) im not sexist btw. its jsut im mimikinh helghast and they dont have women in their army.

Exactly what is redeeming about that model? It's not particularly well-scuplted, and it's incredibly offensive. It's almost as bad as those naked anime figures.

Check around...there are tons of figures like Gretel.

How do you feel about the Daemonettes, with their nakedness? Or the Sisters of Battle in their black leather corsets? I have a GW assassin for Necromunda who has leather thigh high boots, and garters.....What about Mad Donna Ulanti?

If people own those models, do you try and get them banned? Or are you just trolling>?

It's more about taste. The plastic daemonettes aren't visually offensive, and at the very least in no way intended to be "sexy". Escher gangers are fine. SoB are a tad oversexualized (moreso for the Repentia but no one fields those anyway) but they are done far more tastefully than that Gretel model.

*these specific models just reek of 13 year nerd boy. Now if a 30 year old man thats really creepy. I wouldn't try to ban them, but I would just sigh if I saw some old fart come in with them. The stereotype just screams to mind (beware the doritoes powder eminating off of him).

Not visually offensive? Some have bare breasts... thats more offensive than someone actually wearing clothes. There have been many models in the Slaanesh range that have been sexually appealing (to some extent) even though there are parts of them that are demonic, with horns and claws and tails... but at the end of the day a boob is a boob.

Because Games Workshop has never produced sexy looking female minis. Nope. No siree bob! Not a singe one.

Actually the last statement is true, not a single one, but LOADS!

Lets just start with the Dark Eldar Witches, and the Witch special characters, Lelith Hesperax for example.

Sexual preditory is a serious issue. Many men, women and children are abused sexually and are targets of sexual attacks and it's no laughing matter, and throwing words around like that, saying that a MODEL of all things screams "Sexual Predator" is uncouth, untactfull and in severe bad taste. I recomend you chill the hell out.

To the original poster; you should take the Gretel model, and give her a greenstuffed greatcoat, and turn her into your army commissar. She's got the little whip thing too!

I dont see anything wrong with nudity on models, providing it is justified by the character. I think this model is pretty tame, compared to the models I have in the pipeline for casting, I'm hoping that there are a lot of people who like painting a pert pair, even if they feel compelled to deny it!!lol

@MasterSlowPoke: I have a number of "sexy" minis in my collection, and I take offense at you calling me a "sexual predator" because of it. I do not normally use these for game purposes, I have them to paint and display. More than a few of them have been painted to resemble my girlfriend, and she gets a kick out of seeing herself in miniature form in the sexy outfits.
