For posterity here is the original thread from last week:

And a link to the swap shop, not to turn this into an ad...

Ok let's roll

Love or Rage, I will entertain both

Also if you have questions feel free to ask. The sequin thingies are earrings from the craft store. It was like 20 bucks to get all those but it was well worth it. The bare heads are high elf archers. Like I said if something isn't clear just ask and I will answer.

The painting technique for shading and all that technical stuff is awesome. Very impressive work.

The over all impression of the army just doesn't work for me. But like I said, the painting and converting itself is masterful.

See,the over all impresion of this army is the main reason I like it,it shows alot of thought on the part of it's creator, and more so it's not "just another "SM army.
Of course this is just my opinion..but again I say well done.

Just a man, standing in front of a paint pot, trying to remeber if I rinsed boltgun metal in it.

Seriously though, they do look cool, they are very nicely painted, especially the flag, very manga.

The paintwork is great, but I don't entirely get it.

Like, is it supposed to be ironic? Or for a girl?

Didn't you once do a great looking army that everyone was crying about because they felt it looked too Nazi? Wouldn't it be mandatory for you to play both these armies at the same time?

Pretty Marines are just an internet meme poking fun at the idea of "grimdark" and the seriousness behind it.

Why oh why didn't you drill the barrels out?

Otherwise I got a chuckle out of the sparkly vehicles. Being secure and having a sense of humor I can appreciate them. It shows some dedication to take the meme this far.

When you go as far as creating almost exact copies of Nazi propaganda, and trying really hard to copy the swastika without actually copying it, I'd say it's too much.

...anyway, moving on!

This army...my god, this army. It's atrocious, it's absolutely hideous, it's quite possibly one of the worst armies I've ever laid eyes on. Nicely done.

I like how you went the extra mile and even got Forge World bits for this army. It's so utterly ridiculous and yet so much time and money went into it, it's insane. Good luck on the auction, I'd love to buy it myself but I don't have that kind of cash.

I couldn't agree more.

That being said, I want it! Just to humiliate all my opponents with.

If only you had painted up a power list :(

Beautifully converted and painted. I'm very impressed.

This being said, they have clearly been corrupted by vile Slanaashi agents or the insidious Eldar.
As such, I mark thee Diabolus Extremis.

(Lovely hairstyles though, definitely a shame they all have to die. )

Pfft, you misquoted me. Although you ended up praising him for it yourself in the next sentence, so...nevermind?
