Just recently started playing warhammer again after a long break. I have never really finished an army but this time i intend to. Im not the best modeler out there but Im really enjoying myself alot with this army so far. I appreciate any criticism and tips I can get. Dakkadakka has been a huge source of inspiration and i probably wouldnt have taken up modelling again if it wouldnt have been for you guys!
Im using my phone to take these pictures since I lost my camera usb cable and have to special order one before i can take better ones.
The bulk of my army was slapped togeather around 3 years ago without any special attention and i will be trying to save what i can. Its basically 120 clanrats made from plague monks with 80 slaves made from the shoddy models GW call clanrats (god i hate those models ) Everything else will be redone and im aiming to be able to build a few versions of 2250 point armys once im done.
paint scheme test and also the first model i have finished painting in 3 years
Gutter runner tunnellers, Im going to have 1 drill per tunnel team
Night runners and pip test model
Bsb
Working on a unit of plague monks and plague lord and will update with pictures of that unit once its done.
Again, any criticism or tips on how i can improve my models will be appreciated

Brilliant work, these Skaven have a real classic feel. It's brilliant to see old metal minis mixed in there too, the standard bearer is a great bit of work.
I think for me the thing that really makes these figures is the great basing! I love what you did on the first figure.

The drill teams are made from ratling gunners, ork guns some plasticard and the spikes from the rat ogre sprue, I can probably do a step by step on the last 2 drillers im gonna make.
Glad people liking them im learning alot as i go along

Nice! It's great to see skaven with so much care put into them. I don't know what it us but something about skaven draws me in....maybe reading too much Brian Jacques/Redwall as a kid. Anyway, would love to see close ups of the night-runners. They look pretty cool but a better angle/close up would be great to see!
Will be following this one closely!

I don't normally like Skaven but these models are really good. I love the packmasters' whips. for the jezzails, though, shouldn't they be resting on something? They look far too long to be held like they are. Otherwise good work.
