I'm hoping to have enough inspiration to carry on painting some of my AWI models. Working on a few stands of Indians at the moment. I need to build a few more line companies but I'm debating whether to base some of them individually for skirmishing purposes. I'm definitely doing that with the few Indians I have left to base and the militia I'm unlikely to use otherwise.

I also want to buy some light bobs and highlanders. But I still have loads of other stuff left to assemble and paint!

I am still painting 3 Devastator Centurions that were supposed to be finished last month....

Just can't get motivated to paint them as they are not my favourite models but they are almost done.

Then back to the joy if finishing off 60 Tactical Marines....

So bored of Ultramarines blue... lol.

Feel your pain, I still have some from last September and only just got around to figuring out wargear, they are clumsy looking things. And pick up something you like as a model cheap from e-bay or something to paint a different colour as a break from the blue =P

Glued some 15 marines and a scout squad, some 27 orkz and finally started magnetizing.

magnets are the same size as the arm so cant do inserts with them, have to slice of some of the arm to make it look right.

Today was a momentous occasion, as it was the first time I painted a human in at least a year and a half.

Most things I paint tend to be in various shades of greens and browns.

It was a Warlord legionnaire. He looks absolutely diminutive next to all my partially painted Trollbloods and Sronax (giant rhino men).

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Just finished a massive game of Pike & Shot with a friend, my newly completed army of Parlamentarians went up against his combined army of Scots and Royalist forces.
The battle opend with a massive cavalry charge from both sides, witch saw some 200+ cavalrymen and their trusty steeds perish at the hands of their foes. So needless to say, that put a dent in both of our plans but it was non the less a great game and a great way to spend a Saturday on

Well, didn't finish my wierdboy. Just couldn't get motivated..

I did paint Mad Dok Grotsnik, and built a pair of lobbas, Zapp gunz and Kannon to bring my Big Gunz units up to the new size,

I also sorted my Pathfinder tiles back into order, got some work done on building my own Mek Gunz and painted a bit on a kitbashed/converted Sag Mek.

Need to finish working on my Laser Destroyers. Got the upside down barrel on one of them cut off and reversed and pinned, just need to clean up the GS fillings now. Then I need to find more tracks for it since the old ones got mostly destroyed while removing them. I hate wobbly tanks tracks.

Then I am going to loot through my friends and my bits box for tank turret hatches and side hatches for the other Laser Destroyer. Put tracks on it and then prime both of them gray.

Three weeks on and I finally finished that 10,000 point game of Dystopian Wars. It was surprisingly close (just under a thousand points difference) and that last turn went so quick with everything dying the way it did.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

i have a squad of assault marines and a chaplain biker that i'm working on. am slowly chipping away at painting Big Moo. Big Moo is, in game terms, a Chaos Spawn for my Alpha Legion army. In model terms he is a Beastman Ghorgon, with some dragon wings moulded onto his shoulders and another clawed arm growing out of his butt. he's not as much fun to paint as he was to convert, so i tend to do it in spurts!

Converting some CSM into Legion of the Damned, with many flames, skulls, chains and other totally-not-chaos-honest-guys bits and pieces. Starting to get almost-good at using Green Stuff has really expanded my modelling and converting horizons, I now have Ad-Mech and LOTD on the desk with other ideas coming together all the time.

I'm painting my USS Voyager tonight. I made a mistake starting it off yesterday by drybrushing Shadow/Fenris Grey. - Far too dark a blue-ish grey for it.

I think I'm far better off just starting from the original paint scheme + black wash, followed by drybrushing the 'Blue Horror' Edge Paint (yes, really) and then Space Wolves Grey.

Tonight I hope to finish the walls and start making the roof/floor for the tardis portion of my Dr who diorama. I've also got to decide how I want to make the display portion open, one hinge per face.. or two hinges with a split down the middle tall wise... or split in the other direction with magnets holding the top...

So I'll probably have to hit hobby lobby and look at their tiny hinges.
