Flipping through the channels the other night when I found Army of Darkness on. Been awhile since I've seen it, but man it still is good.
Anybody else a fan of the series?

I liken the series to Pirates of the Caribbean. The first one was a great movie of the genre. The second one was there just to connect the first and 3rd, but was still good. The third one ended up in an entirely different place than the first, but was the most epic out of all of them.
I'd rate them as a tie between #1 and Army for first, and #2 in second place.
And yes, I am a fan of the series.

Army of Darkness! A main lead with an iron fist (without the velvet glove) and a boomstick is always a win in any movie.
Can you imagine Di Caprio in Titanic screaming "this is my boomstick" instead of the lame "King of the world"??????

Jenkins: You don't have jurisdiction here!
Smith Jamison: We aren't here, which means when we open up on you and shred your bodies with automatic fire then this will never have happened.
About the Clans: "Those brief outbursts of sense can't hold back the wave of sibko bred, over hormoned sociopaths that they crank out though." |

Same. I saw the third before the others, and then saw the first one. The rapid change from comedy to horror messed my sleep up for week.

Evil Dead was supposed to be a horror, but they well... lost track and made a comedy.
Great movie, I place it above Mars Attacks.
