has anyone heard from dwarven pain? We made a deal for the landraider and the fire prism. I sent half the money and haven't heard from him since.

I sent him PayPal funds for a Land Raider ($30) on October 4th, he said they were picked up to be delivered on October 7th.

On October 17th, I PM'd to ask if he had a shipping number because I didn't think it would take a week for a package to get from Ohio to Maryland.. he said he had a triple shift but would check that evening to see if everything was okay with shipping.

That's the last I heard from him.

I paid for the same landraider on the 2nd of October. I have filed a claim on paypal. I guess you should do the same.

My paypal claim will hopefully be resolved by tuesday. I have not heard from dwarven pain regarding the claim nor have I received the items I paid for. I will update this post as the claim progresses.

I had a good trade with him about a month ago. Have you tried direct email or phonecalls? If you paypal'd him, you have his contract info.
Things may have come up on his end and you don't know.

Condemning people for disappearing is a bunch of crap. Find out first, then complain.

I don't know what happened this time, but I say he's a good guy until I see proof.

@ LL: I emailed him two weeks and have had no response since. I paid him three weeks ago. When you file a claim with paypal they also contact the other party. He has not responded to them either.

He sold the same landraider to me and someone else. That is not ethical nor trustworthy behavior.

Selling a Landraider to 2 different people IS a bad thing. I am sorry if this deal goes wrong.

If I can find his address and phone number later today, I will post them to you.

I also had a positive trade experience with dwarven pain about a month ago. I sent him paypal, he sent me kroot. He also mentioned working late one night, but he shipped out and I got the models in time.

It's interesting to see so many good and bad experiences close together... maybe he is just out of contact and will be back in touch shortly?

I'm a pretty patient person..

And I think almost a month turn around time is plenty of time to get something sent out on something that I've already paid for (or in this case, two people have paid for).

ZERO contact in the past 10 days isn't acceptible and I think from now on, I'll only work with people with more than a few posts on dakkadakka.

At this point - I'm hoping he responds in ANY way.

@ Dakka_X3 : have you filed a claim with paypal yet to get your money back? You should do that as soon as possible.

Here is the reply I received from Paypal today:

I guess I am out my money if paypal cannot retrieve it from dwarven pain. Is there a place here to post a bad trader report?

I have also dealt with him (Forgeworld Marauder) and he says that it`s been sent off 3,5 weeks ago.
Nothing`s arrived here and he doesn`t answer my pm`s anymore.
Looks fishy.
