hi everyone.

today i got an idear . i wanna build the biggest, grumpiest, meanest, toughest, most redicoules (couldnt make up more ) warlord for my army!

hes gonna count as Ghasghkull cuz hes the biggest, grumpi... nah i dont wanna write al that down again.

im gonna buy an ogre bull kit and use one of them for the Warlord and i convert the rest to ogryns for my imperial guard army .

anyway, i want him to tower over all my other orks (includeing my 2 warbosses), so i think ogres is ideal for that job .

is it a good idear, or do you have some tips with building him?

btw, does someone have a good name for him? i cant make up a name .

and im gonna use plastic card as base for the mega armour + an ogre bull of course, but thanks for the idear. i could add some dread plates on too or even make the PK from the dread's fist

one thing is your gunna have to make the ogre more muscly ive seen plenty shoddy ogre conversions because people took an ogryn gave it a hat and pistol and painted it green and IMO it doesnt look great

yeh i kno. orks have more muscles and ogres is too fat to be an ork (ok, orks are fat too, but not that fat!)

my idear is to add the armour, add the PK and add the big shoota. i use the warboss head from AOBR, but im gonna add some GS to the jaw so it looks bigger.

i was thinking about converting the dreadnought in the AOBR box, but i think im gonna use it to the warlord.

Firstly good luck. Secondly, make sure you plan everything out first. I always tell everyone that.
I converted my Warboss from an IG Ogryn bone head or whatever the hell it was called. They are pretty damn big. Big enough to use a drednaught leg (well throne of judgment) As you can seel in the pics, I mad pretty much everything else from scratch. He is HUGE next to Orks. He makes nobz look tiny, and the AOBR boss comes up to about his chest, and is easily 2 times smaller in every direction. Its REALLY funny seeing SM next to this guy.

I gave my army an "idi-ork-racy" theme. (like "Idiocray"). I dont mind if you steal the name "El Prezidente Kamacho" for your warboss from me (since i stole it from Mike Judge) Also i named one of my nobz "Beef Sapreem" and another one "not sure".

Big mek Bignutz- just thought of that. but you gotta either be 7 yrs old or as immature/sleep deprived as me to find that funny.

i always liked your warboss kingcracker, but do you think ogres have the same hights as bone eads?

your one of them who gave me the inspiration to build one to start with.

btw, did you sawed off the bone eads arms or were they un-attached to the body? as i see, the bone ead have as much muscles as orks so i dont have to use gs to make muscles.

I like the idea of using the bone 'eads. I had to do a quick google search to visualize it, but I think it will look freakin' SWEET!

Well crazy git Im glad I was a small part of your inspiration. As for your questions here are the answers. Ogryns SUCK to work with, with the wrong tools. One arm is part of the torso and if I remember correctly, the other is like half or so. (dont remember 100% as I opened it and hacked away) The head is also on the torso. The legs are solid.
I had a 7 speed heavy duty dremel and a metal hack saw. It took me almost a day just to get the metal in the shape I wanted. The arms looks a Little weedy compared to Orks. An Ork of that size would have larger arms for sure. The main problem I had with the original arms, were the hands were WAY too small looking. Thats the main reason I nixed both arms. If your decent or better with GS then it would be an easy fix. I suck with the stuff, so I had to build everything.

well, i dont have the right tools to work with metal, so i just buy the ogre bulls box.

as i said, i choosed Gutrippa, but Spleenstaba is a good name thought, but i would barely remember it .

i post pictures then i begin building him so you can see how im gonna make him.

I'm excited to see this! ogryn's for warbosses is a good idea. Kingcraker did it really well, so i have faith in you grazygit.

So since you chose Gutrippa, maybe he needs a big rippy cleaver/saw type thing, so he can live up to his namesake.

yeh, i might add a saw on his big shoota so he lives up to his name .

anyway. i already made some weapons for Gutrippa (or at least the big shoota)

heres a biography of Gutrippa (i couldn't resist):

Gutrippa is Warlord of the GitBoyz clan consisting of both the deathskulls and goffs. hes taller than anyone else and hes even taller than Ghazghkull, but he didnt only got his respect for his size. he killed those orks who dont followed his orders like getting his breakfast or forgetting to pay 3 teeths per day. this even includes the tribes nobz. the only ones he dont kill is the 2 warbosses, Pigface and Gorgutz, and the tribes Mekboss, Crazygit. they just get a punch in the face, or should the crime be serious (like not respecting him or havent build his stuff in time) he cut off the hand and gets the painboy to put it on again. Crazygit was unlucky enough to get his whole arm cutted off and replaced with a bionic arm. poor mek.

as i said, i couldn't resist

i hope the ogre box comes today so i can show you some wip pictures.

That head is crazy big. And what is that thing in the PK?

the head in the PK is an hive tyrant Gutrippa killed in a battle against tyranids. i make it looks like the sword-thing on the head is broken and you can see the spine in the neck.

You know with a name like that I would take another model and have him lifting it off the ground in one hand wth a blade or saw gong thur its gut's.

secondly, i could use one of my unused boyz and make it looks like Gutrippa is punishing him.

Personally, I never cared for main characters having "people" being ripped up or chopped up on the mini. They always look out of place when you fight a different army. But, the idea of using a boy for that not only makes PERFECT fluff sense, it could look good if you do it right.


And that head is MASSIVE. And thats a good thing, because the warboss head looks a little small on an ogre body. Just make sure you mount it in the right place on the body. Remember Ork heads seem to have the hinge of their jawline level with the shoulders. So make sure you mess around with the positioning to get it right other wise the whole mini looks off. Ive seen people on here make warbosses out of Ogres and just glue the head ontop. It always looks weird afterwards.

i kno. i put the head on then im done makeing the mega armour body.

well, i think theres going a day or 2before i get the ogres, but theres more bad news. im going on a little holliday from friday to monday, so im away from my computer, but if i get the ogre set before i go, i take my camera with me so i can take pics .

more bad news.

as you know, i live in denmark and i by an accident shipped from UK, so its gonna take a while before i get it .
