Yea, so I had about a day to put this together out of scrap cardboard and random junk, as well as liberal application of spraypaint. Currently, the better pictures are on everyone else's cameras from that night, so this one must suffice until I get better ones.

By the way, that was taken in the tattoo shop down the strip from the local hobby shop. Hence the setting.

I seriously wish I had some better shots. And yes, "last minute" it was. Someone a month ago said to me, as I am a "large" gentleman, that I should go as a Stompa. Well, this blew his mind when I walked in the shop that night. It cost me ~$20 to make, thanks to freebie cardboard from local ABC stores. Over the course of two days, I managed to get it done with a total time of roughly 6 hours. Not bad, but not great. Next year, if I still have it, I will probably re-paint it to Bad Moonz and kit it out a bit more thoroughly. Sadly, at this angle, you cannot see the nifty smoke-stakes (which were a bit short, but it had to fit in my Kia Spectra!).

What you do is you wear this to games of Apocolypse along with a Great Gargant datasheet pinned to the front. When the game starts, just get up on the table and start crushing the enemy warriors with your feet. It is important to do this only during your turn. You know, for fairness.

HAH! Got some more pictures. It wasn't perfect, nor comfortable to wear, but the reaction from the guys and gals at the shop was priceless.

Next year, I will try to allocate some time to making a costume instead of leaving it last minute. Might try for something more elaborate, like a Dread or something. Who knows. The experience was utterly priceless, though.

Oh, the head is still on display at my local shop, too. Makes for a great conversation piece.
