Some pics of my new and growing Ork horde. Have most all of it painted now, and will add newer photos in a day or so. The table in my garage is 6x4 and one I clear out my space a bit more we are going for a 6 x 8. The Table is all resanded now, and I have some very rough 2x2' terrain squares we use on top of the table as well.
My friend and I are doing a string of planet strike games now. Love the stratagems you can use in it. My friend is building a Ravenguard 5k point army.
I'll post some newer ones of my painted army, w/Ghaz, and an unpainted as of yet awesome totally scratch built Deff Dred one my camera's batteries have recharged

Personally I prefer the 4x8 table. Its always big enough, and when you play a smaller table size, theres enough room for rolling and drink and such.
But looks like a pretty nice table to play on man. And your horde is pretty nice as well

Nice start on the horde, and the table looks great. Any chance for some closer pics of the orks?
And what neighborhood are you in in Seattle, may I ask? I'm in Wallingford, and looking to start a local club, preferrably walking distance for whenever Sonpocalypse 2010 hits

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Ok, first, ty all for the comments, I may actually go with a 4x8. Thanks for that suggestion. So as promised earlier, here is a completely cobbled together Deff Dred. Parts from a planetstrike comms base, some ork trukk parts, etc. He's curing on my fireplace mantle now for the primer tomorrow. Only one point of articulation is the 2nd close combat weapon w/ my version of a kustom mega blasta on it, it spins 360 and is removable. May go eveil suns and do a yellow theme, not sure. Oh, and the new table look as well.
Already he looks different as I ahve completely armored his legs and feet and have "buffed" him out. I'm done putting stuff on him at this point and am looking forward to painting him.

Good looking stuff. Oh, and you get extra cool points for that copy of Talhoffer's "The Art of Kicking a Guy in the Nuts while Holding a Sword" on the bookshelf in the first pic. Got a copy of that myself (C.H. Tolber does some great modern interpretations in "Fighting with the German Longsword"). Seriously, though, the table looks solid, as does your army. Were I building a table, I'd definitely go modular, if at all possible. Just doesn't make sense to limit yourself if you don't absolutely have to.

Indeed, I'm enjoying the modular table more than my old one with the static terrain. Newest photos of my bashed together Def Dred.... I say beforehand that I equally suck at both painting and photography, so bear that in mind.
