Well what do you like more catz or dogz. I love dogs. They are so loyal. Cats are not loyal or atleast to me. my dog is always there to lay on meh belly and just relax.

I have both. I like pitbulls. You can lie on them, use as a pillow, a backrest, footrest, end table (there backs can balance dinnerware!), and they just love to play
or relax and be lazy.

Dogs are the best man. My family has four and they're so much more affectionate than that cat we once had.

Some birds are actually smart , if they can be trained to use the toilet instead of pooing every where , they would make great pet.

For example there is this one bird that is really smart , when hold my finger up and call it , it flies to me.

Cat's are quite intelligent I prefer them over dog's. Dog's bark all the time, and if you have had a cat since it was a kitten it will show similar affection a dog would, just not raping your face with its tongue.

@Shadowbrand: Cats are no more intelligent than dogs and are less responsive to/intuitive of human behavior and emotion. As species, humans and dogs "grew up together" so to speak. Dogs have been domesticated nearly twice as long as cats. Humans and dogs have a much longer history of working together and understanding one another.

I have a little lovebird. He's pretty smart, I suppose, for a bird. But he doesn't compare to my dog in terms of affection. Actually, he's always been pretty nippy.

Well this bird that pooped on my hand .
Everytime we praise it for responding to our call ( flying to the person that calls him ) , it goes in a crazy hyper mode,
he would fly really fast in circles , land , bob its head up and down ( almost like its doing celebrating dance... )

Not to mention crows , they are too smart. I see them everyday because they sit in front of my window + on my roof + on my lawn.
geez they are everywhere ( even in my clogged roof gutter where they take bath in... )

Cats, just because i like a survivor. a dog will lay down and die beside its master if the dog is unlucky enough to be stuck in the house when the master dies. A cat will eat the owner to survive. sick i know, but with a cat you know where you stand, a dog also but not always.

Egal: doesnt matter, All cats and dogs are cute as pups and kitties and should be snuggled and played with. regardless of your preferance.
