They are seperTe spruces and that is why they are packaged seperaty. Any shop owner could bundle them together and do a discount if that would help them sell.

Are there any weapon options for the 15mm Leviathan?

There are quite a few - but I don't think most of them are available/have shipped to backers/retailers yet.

Basically, if it exists for the 28mm version, it exists for the 15mm version.

I'm really not a fan of the GW knight pics.. they're just too busy and they look more like toys than models to me, especially compared to how nice the FW titans look. Maybe it's also due to the flashy paint jobs too. I prefer the look of the leviathans a lot more. So are the 28mm leviathans a good fit for the GW knights? Or are the 15mm versions better?

Over in the Knight thread, we reached the conclusion that the 28mm was too big and the 15mm too small. However, I've gone for a big'un anyway as with a 7"+ tall model with a 72" range weapon, cover and LOS aren't really going to come into play anyway unless you're using skyscraper terrain.

You can also model a 15mm Leviathan standing on some terrain/wreckage to bump it up an inch or two, to put it close to the Knight's height. But given the ranges, etc. (as mentioned above) it really seems like a non-issue. This is probably what I'll do, since DFG 15mm guys are around 1/3 the price if the Knight...

Thanks, seems my dream of an all (non) titan army for 40k is still alive when the arm options come out. I take it it will be some time as, correct me if im wrong here please, that the DFG KS has been delayed by quite some time?

I'm planning on using two 15mm dread knights as rip tides in an adep-tau-s mechanicum army using the more ornate slightly larger GW as a baron using the knight rules. After all variety is the spice of life and by combining multiple ranges I can create exactly the style army my crazy mind desires.

If I go to the extent to use one in my GK army, I'll probably go with the 28mm one. It's an inch and a half taller, but creative posing (which we know Mark's kit has, unsure about the knight) will help shrink that I think. The real problem comes in when my plan for the 15mm was to serve as a DreadKnight...

You can actually shorten your leviathans by removing vertebrae from the spinal column.

Exactly! The full size Mortis could work quite well for the admech knight. Looking forward to seeing folks' conversions

just be careful when you do, unlike Klingons the leviathans don't have redundant spinal columns.

It has been figured out to be 6" tall.... the 4.6" 15mm would work fine with 1" of debri or dead bodies on the base...

$33 DOLLARS FOR A 15 MM LEVIATHAN?

Mark, I'm not supposed to be spending money.

Mark, please, you can't do this to me... I can barely resist that kind of price

at this point its no longer a matter of whether or not I can resist MOAR leviathans....its a matter of how many my resistance will allow me to order

Whoa. That is sweet!

I have six 15mm Mortis models coming with Wave 3, though, so I can't really use any more than that. Really awesome for anyone who hasn't gotten some yet, though... and very good timing!

$75 for the big one is an absolute steal, too, and I am still thinking that will be the more appropriate size for a Knight. Bigger than the GW model... but bigger is better, amirite?

I could. And my girlfriend has given me permission!

Not only do I have permission, my girlfriend is now looking at making the grey knight army she always wanted. In debt we go.

Great discounts, but since I was an idiot and didn't get enough Valkir or any APCs, I'm leaving my next DFG order until I can get it all at once. Hopefully with that "sorry for being so late" discount coupon and shipping from China ; p

Passed the deal onto some mates who missed the KS and who are *very* interested in the leviathans still. If they can muster up a $400 order they get free international shipping which is always nice!

Only need to order 6 Leviathans to get that, so shouldn't be too difficult.
