I have 2 AoBR Dread.
One is done one is not yet build.

I love to run Venerable Dread. Its very strong and cheap(Yes,I'm dark angels player)
But I always use them "count-as"

So I decided to build "venerable dreadnout" from new AoBR Dread.
Anyone did try make Venerable from AoBR dread?

I want to build venerable dread following:

*having sword on left arm
*having plasmacannon on right arm
*looks like venerable. Marine head on center


I have some tactical marine bitz,IG bitz,and many raven wing bitz and few dark angel veteran bitz.(Wish I could have sentinel plasma cannon) Buying bitz are hard for me.
Advice me how to make venerable dreadnout by using AoBR dread and my bitz.

The front body part of a terminator is not hard to come by: If I recall correctly, you should have one left over if you bought a box of terminators, right? At least I have at least two of them in my bits-box (not the rear, though!) so I figure they must have come from the terminators box. I think the easiest way would be to buy a pack of terminators and since you play DA anyway, use them as Deathwing. Deathwing rocks.

Yeah....I'll try find someone who have spare termie body.
But there is no other way?

That is my Death Co. Dread... thanks for checking it out.

It sounds like you have a limited selection of bitz, but let me start by telling you what I used.

AoBR torso obviously, both Ironclad dread arms, a sm terminator torso, a FW Red Scorpion helmet, 1 ravenwing searchlight (sliced in half) for bottom half of torso, 1 ravenwing searchlight to attach sword, the command squad 'champion' sword, 4 x 1st edition space marine chain bayonets, and green stuff for the two red seals surrounding each weapon.

But if that is really not an option just experiment with what you've got, that is what I did. A regular tactical marine torso might work. You'd of course need to sand/file it down flat on the back side, and do the same on the face of your AoBR dread. I think it might just be too small though making it tough to fit a helmet in there.

Do you have any plasmacannons from the devastator kit? ...I did this with one of my vintage dreads (attached)
