So here's a few pictures of my test gargoyle. I do have some tips for those of you who are going to get some or are trying to figure out how to make them unique:

-If you like to pin everything as I do, it's actually very easy. You can drill through the concave hole where the head goes and immediately stop. The way the body is constructed there's basically a 'cavity' where glue can sit and a pin can go that won't have you gluing the flying base to the model.

-GW was nice enough to make a perfect hole in the bottom so you don't have to have them put together permanently. What I do suggest is to put a little putty on the outside and then take a circular needle file to it. This makes a really positive grip that'll make any pose very stable.

-Try putting on devourers and rending claws like I did and see if you like them. The kitbashing options aren't great, but if you shave down the 'bicep' portion of genestealer rending claws (the 3 fingered ones) they look proportionate and very cool.

-Any of the wings can fit anywhere if you do one thing: Use a hobby knife to remove the small bump 2/3's of the way down the slot where the wing goes. You can then bend each type of wing and make combinations that are very unique (think of epic scale and forgeworld eldar tank shapes).

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any other questions about the paint scheme, etc. just write them down I'll be happy to answer.
