Been playing CSm since 3rd edition but never never finished an army. I tried to finish painting 2250 worth of models in 2 1/2 weeks this was the result. I set this goal to try and win best painted army but as you can see that didnt happen but I got 3rd place which surprised me! I was MIA from 40k for over 6 months. Im looking for advice on how to make my alpha legion guys (blue ones) stand out more when your standing like 3 feet away. I notice that a lot of the armies that got a lot of points looked great from far away but up close itw as a mess. Just looking for some tips on how to make the minatures pop out more stand out and not blend so much.
