Im looking for a good deal on skulls for my chaos land raider and rhinos.

5 skulls for a dollar doesn't seem too bad, but those skulls don't really look that great.
What I would really like is a nice lot of Vampire Counts Zombie skulls/heads since im going nurgle. Those are pretty cool looking
ebay has them, of course, but they are a bit pricey

Does anybody know of any other neat skulls or zombie heads that are fairly cheap?

the bitzbox usually has some cool skulls but they seem to be out of skulls at the moment.

I've been doing some heavy research trying to find something that works.
I spent hours googling variations on wording pertaining to war gaming, bits, warhammer, sprues, mini skull heads, mini zombie heads, etc. There doesn't seem to be much for zombie type heads outside of vampire count zombie bits. For skulls, however, I found a good bit., especially when i did a search for beads.
The beads sizes do vary, some seem like they might be too big and others too small. And the pewter beads tend to have better detail and look a whole lot better, but the prices aren't too bad.

Is it individual skulls you're after, or will a 'sheet' do, to be cut to shape to fill a certain gap?

The reason I ask is because I've been thinking of getting a few of these bases and cutting them to shape/size to fill the armour forms on the front/rear of a land raider. Just a suggestion.

Interesting. That sounds like a really good idea. That way there would be more of a pile and less uniform.

I liek that idea a lot, could be used to cover an entire land raider with skulls..... khorne would be very pleased indeed

Personally, I think your best bet would be Ebay. A quick search for "Warhammer Skulls" came up with a ton of sets of skulls, the best I found was 24 of them for about $2.50. Good luck in your search!
