Hi folks,
I've been trying to come up with a mobile 750pt Codex Marines list which makes use of a Space Marine Captain - this is what I've come up with below, so your thoughts would be very appreciated!

HQ

Relic Blade
Combi-Melta
Notes: This fella is to join the 5 man tac squad in the Rhino

10 Tactical Squad 230
Lascannon
Plasma Gun
Razorback

5 Tactical Squad 140
Power Sword
Rhino

TOTAL: 750

First thing first, reverse the transports. The plasmagun/lascannon combo is great for sitting in a rhino on an objective. The razorback is more suited to the 5 man squad, especially with the pw.

Do not use command squads. They are total waste of points.

Death korps of Krieg 4000 pts.
FoW germans 5000 pts.
BFG Imperial fleet 2500 pts.
Necromunda gang 2500 credits

@w0chtulka: Really? I thought the consensus was that the Command Squad was the only real reason it is worth taking a Captain!

Only reason to take captain is that with good loadout he can be strong in CC

I agree totally.

Especially at this point level anything with t 5 and fnp, and the highly mobile medium range firepower that bikers provide, is GOOD.

I never take the command squad myself. The reason to take a captain, at least for me, is the better CC capabilities. He generally inflicts a lot of damage for me.
