I've got 130pts left in my 1850 list and i'm at an impass. I torn between putting in a terminator chaplain or a terminator librarian and attaching to to my assault terminator squad (thunder hammers/ storm shields).
So far to decide it i've got
Chaplain Pros: Fearless, Power Weapon, Rerolls on Assault, 4+ invulnerable
Cons: lack of mobility, str 4
Librarian Pros: Gate of Infinity for mobility, Force Weapon, Psychic Hood
Cons: 5+ invulnerable

I'd appreciate your opinions on this and other suggestions are fine.

You love it you slags!

It really depends on what the rest of your list looks like. Its always nice to have the psychic defense, but rerolls on the charge is devastating.

As your putting this guy in with your assault terminators the chaplain makes more sense as his abilities fit better with assault based units.

If you use gates of inifinity with this squad they cannot move or assault the turn they use this power, and will have to wait until the following turn before they can start wreaking havoc.

Is this squad footsloging or do they have transport?

if without a ride, the libby might help you close the gap.
But it would be a nail biter for that one turn as your opponent levels what he has at this squad to kill it before they can do what they do best.

If they have a land raider then the chaplain makes their charge that much more devastating.

Deep Striking so footsloggin'

As for my list. heres a rough list, if i really need to write it neatly for a decision to be made i will, but as of now its too much of a bother to
kantor, 2 scout squads (1 is 5 snipers squad other is 10 man), 10 man tactical squad (plasma/ plasma cannon/ powerfist), 5 man sternguard (2 combi plasma, powerfist), dreadnought (las/ missile), 5 assault teminators (thammers), 10 man assault squad (lightning claws, 2 flamers), dakka pred and 7 man devestators (4 hbolters)

I would drop the 5 man termie squad and 3 from the 10 man squad. Mix up the 7 left with some LC's and some TH/SS. Get a LRC and regular Chappy. Put the 7 Termies, the chappy, and Kantor in the LRC.

15 footslogging termies just wont get the job done. that is 600 points that could potentially never see combat.

Hope this helps any.
