These are my manticore (chimera, aegis defense line, old F4 phantom model missles), Rough rider (cadians and cold one lizard mounts), and Hydra (aegis defense line and chimera). The Hydra obviously is not painted yet, and is mounted on the same hull as the manticore. I plan on getting the second Chimera for it this weekend. Constructive criticism appreciated. Also I would like to thank commissarkhaine for the inspiration.

The missiles on your manticore look like Aim-54 Phoenix missiles. What scale? 1/48 or 1/32 (aircraft stuff rarely comes in 1/35 - apart from helos).

I think I have a few of those lying around in the bits box.

Don't like the Hydra, though - it's just the "interceptor" guns from planetstrike don't scream "dakka dakka" to me - more like an anaemically whispered "pew".

Thanks for the input on the hydra. The barrels were extended on the interceptor platform by about an inch. Would you recommend using larger diameter tubes, or just extending the length or both?

Admittedly, I thought (based on the ZSU-23-4 and the ZSU-57-2) the scale was ok.
