Under the couch

I'm always on the lookout for cheap bits and pieces to use for terrain, and just stumbled upon the G-force Training Lab playset which, as luck would have it, is just about perfectly sized to make some handy and cheap Necromunda or 40K terrain.

So, I grabbed some for myself, and a few extra sets for the UTC store...

The set includes a couple of differently-sized platforms, an open pipe/slide setup, a couple of catwalks and a few other small bits and pieces. (Not the Space Marine... he's just there for scale)

You can find them all, available individually, in the Under The Couch online store here.

I am also regulary searching toy stores and ebay for Sci-Fi things usable for 40k and I also bought the set you mentioned. While Star Wars and Alien merchandise is obviously interesting, here two not so obvious choices from Dr. Who:

A Drop pod sized industrial terrain element (quite cheap, in the middle):

And a huge (60cm diameter) Eldaresque monument (expensive, esp. postage, leave out wall and some elements of obviously wrong scale):
