These are all out or soon to be:

So what new things have I seen?

* got to see some preliminary cad for upcoming plastic elite orks
* Tanks! I can now confirm Tanks are coming...following the Incoming email...unfortunately, I can't go into more detail. I will say the age of the hybrid kit is soon to end. Some of you have already made some good guesses.
* More terrain, beyond the recently spotted SM statue set, there should be additional terrain later this year. Although, I would not hold your breath for Xenos just yet.
* And GW still has some surprises in store thru the year end, certainly the Astartes push has not ended April 6...

for a year of Fantasy, 40k is having a banner year...

Please, more marines? More Marines? I'm sick of seeing so much power armor in such a small amount of time. I appreciate the enthusiasm but Xenos need attention too or you're going to have a very bland game. (like anyone needs to hear that line again)

Oh ive already voted with my wallet. I havent spent a dime on new GW stuff for almost a year now and instead invested in several skirmish games.

I'm not even sure WHAT Marine models they're hating on. The Blood Angels? That's no bloody surprise they're coming out. We've known for a loooong time.
The Inquisition stuff? Not really Marines, but Power Armour. Maybe that's not so great.

Seriously people. Stuff the eRage over what is just an updated list of rumors with some things marked off as "confirmed".

I don't mind marines or no marines - the only thing I would say however is that I would love to start a Dark Eldar army, but don't want to end up getting older models 6 months before lovely shiney detailed ones come out.

But I'd totally get into GK's as well.

Anyway, I don't think the Russ is the new tank hinted at - they were talking about hybrid tanks. Then again, if they released a Russ with the Exterminator turret attached as well, that would fit the bill. Or a Gryphon/Colossus split variant?

I would honestly not be surprised to have seen all the Non-Vanilla marines get an update by the end of this year. I can just smell it.
Hopefully, this will mean that NEXT year will be xeno-tastic.

Why do people bitch about marines? They keep the company afloat and provide capital for EVERYTHING else. Be thankful for marines, they have kept the company in business and us in a hobby for this long.

You want more Xenos, then buy them. GW is a business, they make what sells.

I want to see more variety too, but more than that, I want to see the company stay around as I have a lot of money invested into GW products.

How have GW overflowing the market with marines kept the company going? Where did you get that from?

They make what is available. It isn't much a matter of what sells.

You guys can't have it both ways. On the one hand you bitch that every kid/newb plays marines, but then you claim they don't sell? Which is it?

I don't even play marines, but it isn't rocket science to figure out they are the best sellers...

Personally I don't mind what they release as long as it's new.

The non-MEQ league is a good idea. Although I don't think it will stop GW from making new SM stuff.

Indeed. I think this is the reason GW closed down leaks - for every 1 person saying 'Great, my army is getting redone, I'm going to save up for the new models' etc, there are 5 people who say 'Oh great work, GW, delaying my precious (insert army/codex here) again to work on (insert new codex release here).' True, most of the people who QQ quite hard are probably the sort who would complain anyway even if their codex was redone with new models because of some random flaw they perceive.

Absolutely right. It does suck though. But a lot of other companies are jumping on that wagon. I'm looking at you, PP and RE.

That claim is pretty far out there.

As for the additional news of More marines on the way, I'm pretty sure everyone expected that. Releases are usually Imperium/Xenos, and guard are really the only non-marine imperium army out there - and we know sisters are not due this year so...

I think that all spells Grey Knights, which is fantastic. Some balance on the field and increased sculpts will do that range beautifully.

Grey knights probably are flat out the most unique SM chapter, so I don't really view this news as "another marine release".

Don't say that, the anti marine boys will fly into a rage if they hear you saying GK's are not 'another marine release'. And I for one don't need the river of tears flowing out of my interwebs. It could block the tubes.
