Hey dakka,

Im looking for a base for my predator tank.
Now im not sure which one to use, the trygon oval base looks cool but dont know if it will fit
does anyone know an oval shaped base that can fit a predator/rhino tank?

Trygon base would likely be a little small.

Why do you want to base your tank? Normally people don't normally base tanks.

Trygon base is definately too small to be 'scenic' but the model would just about squeeze onto it.
Best bet would probably be a trophy plaque/base/stand.

i want to have a scenic base for my predator, so it looks like its moving over rocky terrair with its turret turned and fired upwards. if it were attached to a nice big oval base, the overall effect would look great.

the tyrgon base is too small to use for the predator tank.
Where would i get a topy plaque/base/stand?

As you're in the US, you can go to either Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and you have your choice of A.) Wooden bases/plaques, which you can stain the edges of (just like wash, but it's enamel) or you can get B.) a complete enclosure made of acrylic, which is made for trophy footballs and such.
