I'm having a few problems with the wording and wargear of Wazdakka in the ork codex.

The rules for shooting with bikes clearly states

Each bike in a unit may fire once with one weapon for each rider on the bike. Thus a space marine attack bike with driver and passenger in sidecare can fire two weapons.

Meaning that in Wazdakkas case he must choose between firing his Kustom Mega Blasta, Dakkakannon or Slugga - fine so far.

What i'm struggling with is the line that says

When Wazdakka Turbo Boost he may still fire his weapons that turn.

Surely, and i admit this is a little picky, but it should read; When Wazdakka uses his Turbo Boost he may still fire a weapon that turn.

Also this make me question why Wazdakka has a slugga in the first place as it serves no game purpose at all.

Maybe they are keeping it open for further versions of the game, what if they decide to make bikers even better and they can fire all their weapons even if they move.

As for the slugga say you were down to just wazdakka and there was a unit of 3 guard in front of you that you want to assult for the extra distance but are not sure you can fully take down. You would hit them with the slugga first to soften them up and then assult.

In 4th ed when the rules were released, the slugga served to give Wazdakka an extra attack, as you could use it as a second CCW with the PK.

It is best to assume the least arguable aspect of Wazdakka's ability and say "Well, if he has 3 different weapons, and he is able to fire weapons while Turbo Boosting, then he can fire his weapons. He is also a biker too, and only one model at that, so his maximum number of weapons he can fire at one time is one, so therefore he can fire one weapon as usual, even when he is Turbo Boosting."

They would of made it much easier to understand if they simply meant one of his weapons was able to fire while turbo boosting, but you get to pick from three rather than one.

WarOne has it spot on. It says Weapons because he has multiple weapons.

I would say the wording is still very confusing. It would be far better written as: When Wazdakka uses his Turbo Boost he may still fire a weapon that turn.

That would make the destinction clear and evade people from thinking that Wazdakka and other bikers with one model on them could fire more than one weapon a turn.

Of course it could have been written more clearly. But then people might wonder if it's truly a GW product.
