Now I can take my honor guard with any HQ!!

I run four plas, four power weapons, and a chapter banner, in a drop pod, super duper expensive points wise but very fun to play. They actually do pretty well on the table... most of the time.

All four honor guard get the Crux Terminatus shoulder pad and they have the banners on the other shoulder, you can see the Eye of Sanguinius on one of them

If you remember second edition as fondly as I do (don't get me wrong, I love 5th too) you'll notice that the banner is from one of the books that came in the 2nd edition box set, I scanned it shrunk it and colored it.

Now that the new codex is out I need to cut off that bolt pistol and put a grail in his hand.

Yeah Munch Munch! I really did slack on those mold lines, especially on the Sanguinary Novitiate. Its horribly obvious in the photos.

that banner is astounding - I think the grey, gold, and red works well - especially if you could clean up the mold lines a lil bit like the other people said

@Soviet Yam--I didn't want to do gold or red for the honor guard, and other bright colors I tried just didn't go well with all the red armor, so I tried a to get a ghostly somber look.
Also, that is an excellent screen name.

And in case you're interested the honor guard got to have some fun in its fast rhino last night, and Mephiston is frightening, Transfixing Gaze turns demon princes into piles of goo and the Sanguine sword turn delifers into smoking wrecks!!
