Does anybody have tips on recreating the fleshy bits on the forge world capillary towers?
I want to create capillary towers myself but I don't know how to model the fleshy bits.

Greenstuff is you best option, though i doubt you could pull it off unless you have some skill or experience with it.

You could try to make the larger fleshy areas with paper or cloth, dipped in white glue and water to soften them, and then lay them on the model until they dry. That might work for the larger areas, and then the smaller ridges and such shouldn't be too hard to recreate with some green stuff/hot glue.

Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.

Pink foam, hit with a heat gun or blow torch of some form. The hard part would be not overly toasting the non-fleshy side.

Letting expanding foam semi dry then roughly removing the skin can produce some nice effects.
More of this at the bottom of the page in my gallery....

Also melting white polystyrene with plastic glue whilst covering the raised areas with tape should work well.
