@ wolflold:

Now THAT is sexy.
Looks like a miniature Thunderhawk. Where's that from?

@ drkshmn3984: looks good, too. But perhaps you should take off the landspeeder part and integrate it into to rhino chassis, making it a little more slender, and less like sort of a winged truck.

wolflord: LR mini-t-hawk. I love it!
It looks ridiculous, but in the kind of way that looks perfect in 40k.
Great job all round!

Runnin up on ya.

That thing cost well over $100. A landraider and a valkyrie? Man, someone has too much a)time and b)money.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

I had much the same thought as this last model posted, but couldn't really afford the kits needed. Great work. Where's the Dreadnought supposed to go though? Perhaps I just can't see where in the photo...

Nice! While I've liked some of the other Storm Ravens I've seen, that one posted by wolflold is the first one I've seen that looks like how a Storm Raven has been described. Totally dig it.

I was wondering that, too. Then I saw the Valkyrie landing gear on an "arm" near the flying stand ... I wonder if that represents a clamping mechanism for the dread ?

Very cool conversion, wolflold. What did you use for the fuselage panels below the Valkyrie wings? Is that the troop compartment of the Valkyrie? Please post some for pics !!!

And, not to ignore the OP drkshmn3984, I really like where you're going with your idea. For me, and how I picture the Storm Raven, it seems too small but I love the idea as an Imperial Shuttle. Consider it "enlisted" into service for my Inquisitor.

wolflold - any chance of getting some more pics of that or a tutorial on how it was done?

I like the one that this thread is actually about better - it looks like a more rules-accurate version of the Battlefoam dude's Storm Raver. You might want to borrow his idea of the roof-mounted missiles - unless you've already found a better place for them.

I tired a stormraven conversion, a LR Redeemer kit and Valkyrie seems to be the best way to get the mini thunderhawk look..

Sorry for the low quality image too, I don't own a working camera xD.

Well, that looks certainly quite... Interesting.

Not that I know how I would build one but this one looks really weird. The one in the 2nd post works because the track-parts are left out, but your transport compartment is way too thick for the wings, which look small im comparison.

I love the versitily of the Valk kit to be used with other GW production kits. It almost seems like they designed their own kits around STC design.

I plan to do one. It will take me a couple of days since I need to order more parts and kits since I used most of what I have for that particular conversion.
